PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced six-hour power suspension in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to maintenance work on transmission lines from 7am to 1pm on July 23.

According to a statement issued here on Thursday, in Mardan district the power suspension would affect the consumers of Baghe Iram, Charsadda Road, City 2, Nisatta Road, Gujar Garhi, Duranabad, Eidgah, Saleem Khan area, Shahdand, Par Hoti, Dooranabad, Bughdada and Shankar, Jehangirabad, Narai Wala, Takht Bhai, Old Takkar, Umerabad, Katlang, Badraga, Lund Khwar, Hari Chand 1 and 2, Shergarh Old, Ghazi Baba, Kalu Khan, Ismaila, Yar Hussain, KSK Cadet College, Bakhshali and Sawaldher. In Malakand district, the consumers will face inconvenience in Plalai, Sher Khana, Kot, Hero Shah, Wazirabad, Agra, Dargai, Sakhakot, Mian Khan area and Malakand.

The consumers of Swabi district will face inconvenience on July 22 and 23 due to power suspension in areas, including Marghuz, Baja Express, Gadoon Textile 1 and 2, Marghuz New and some other industrial areas.

The Pesco consumers will face inconvenience on July 23 in Utmanzai, Sheikhabad, Gulabad and Belola in Charsadda, Maini, Yousafzai, Village 1 and 2 in Tarbela, Mingora 1, 2, 3 and 4, Gulkadra, Takhta Band, Sanger, Bandai, Haji Baba, Saidu Baba, Qambar, Marghuzar, Kabal 1, 2, 3 and 4, Malam Jaba and Barikot in Swat, Timergara, Maidan, Lal Qilla, Toormang, Akakhel, New Mayar, Dushkhel, Qazafe, Gar Shamozai, Ghazi Baba, Warsak and Samar Bagh in Lower Dir, and Panakot and Dir ARC-3 in Upper Dir.
