Sixteen Stars in quarters

KARACHI, June 3: Sixteen Stars moved into the quarterfinal of All-Karachi Nazir Hussain memorial football tournament edging out Lyari Brothers Club 1-0 at Hussaini and Young Patni Football Club on Friday. Aman scored the all-important goal for the winners in the seventh minute off a brilliant pass from the midfielder.

The score was 1-0 at the end of first half, which remained so as no team could make any in the second half.

Aman was later declared Man-of-the-Match.—PPI
