PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other central leaders will address public meetings in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in connection with the election campaign during the next two weeks.

This was announced by party’s provincial secretary information Senator Rubina Khalid while speaking at a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday.

She said Bilawal was candidate for NA-8, Malakand, and he would soon arrive there to meet party workers, office-bearers and also address a public meeting as part of his election campaign.

Besides, he will also address public meetings in some other districts, especially in Peshawar, Mardan and Dera Ismail Khan, she said. She did not share information about the schedule, saying it would be announced soon.

Accompanied by PPP women wing’s provincial president Nighat Orakzai, the party’s spokesperson expressed the hope that her party would win maximum of the national and provincial assembly seats in the KP province.

About the delay in unveiling of the party’s manifesto she said the PPP chief himself was monitoring the process to finalise every aspect of it in consultation with experts so as to announce a comprehensive plan, most probably on Wednesday (today) in Islamabad.
