Sridevi was honoured at the International Indian Film Academy Awards held in Bangkok this year.

The Bollywood actor who passed away earlier this year won the best actress award for her role in Mom (2017) in which she plays a woman seeking vengeance after her stepdaughter is raped.

Her husband Booney Kapoor collected the award.

Sridevi's Mom co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui won best supporting actor for his performance in the film.

The winning film of the night was Tumhari Sulu, which took home the best film award and had seven nominations. It's the story of a housewife who becomes a radio jockey.

Irrfan Khan won the best actor award for his film Hindi Medium, a tale of parents seeking good education for their daughter. Khan is currently undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine cancer.

The film's director Saket Chaudhary also bagged the best director award for the Saba Qamar-starrer.

Anupam Kher was awarded Outstanding Achievement by an Actor in Indian Cinema at the event.

Rekha set the IIFA stage on fire after 20 long years. The actor was the epitome of grace as she danced to old Indian classics like 'Thade Rahiyo' and 'Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya' among others.

The event also saw performances by Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Salman Khan's rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vântur, Kriti Sanon, Arjun Kapoor...

...and the three musketeers Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar and Riteish Deshmukh.
