While Priyanka Chopra has been in the headlines lately more for her personal life (she's rumoured to be dating Nick Jonas!), that doesn't mean her work life has taken a back seat.

According to Indian Express, PC will be sharing screen space next with Farhan Akhtar in a Shonali Bose (Margarita with a Straw) flick; it's a film based on a young motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhry who was born with an immune deficiency disorder.

A source shared: “The movie is based on Aisha's life and her book, My Little Epiphanies. Priyanka and Farhan will play her parents’ role. Zaira Wasim will be portraying Aisha's role in the film. The film goes on floors in August this year.”

At the age of 13, Aisha was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. At a very young age, she started speaking on platforms like TEDx, INK etc. She was truly inspirational. Unfortunately, Aisha passed away at the age of 18 but her spirit lives on and we're glad the world will know her story now.

She exposed the Hindutva brigade recently. Expect a boycott.
