APROPOS the news report ‘Asif Zardari promises one govt job for every family’.

The media has a responsibility to highlight such promises. Government departments are already overstaffed owing to political patronage. How can senior politicians make such promises? Why don’t they start this charity from their own homes?

Mr Zardari and his party’s leaders own hundreds of industries as well as multiple trading houses. Why don’t they employ more people in these entities?

Politicians promising the moon to win elections need to be exposed.
