LAHORE: Pakistan Fede­ra­tion Baseball has set up a training camp here on Thurs­day for its U-12 team which will participate in the Asian Championships set to be held in Taiwan from Aug 13 to 20.

President Pakistan Base­ball Federation Syed Fakhar Ali Shah said the camp will continue till Aug 12.

Fakhar said the federation has been participating in the U-12 tournament regularly to expand the base at the grassroots level.

He said the National Youth Baseball Academy has already been functional since an year now. Young baseball players from Fata and Punjab are attending the academy.
