LAHORE: The South Cantonment police lodged a murder case against a man for allegedly killing his wife on Tuesday.

Amjad allegedly administered poison to his wife Yasmin, who died in a local hospital.

Yasmin’s mother Azra Bibi also nominated in the case Amjad’s parents saying they administered her daughter poison over some family issues.

The relatives of Yasmin also lodged a protest by blocking the road demanding arrest of the killers.

The police shifted the body to the city morgue for an autopsy and handed over the case to the homicide unit for investigation.
