KARACHI: Sindh Gov­ernor Muhammad Zubair has said that ind­us­trial development is inevitable for national prosperity.

Talking to a delegation of industrialists, who called on him at Governor House, the governor said that industrial development was also a source of reducing unemployment in the country and earning foreign exchange through exports, a statement said on Tuesday.

Business leader S.M. Muneer, who was leading the delegation, said that the continuation of economic policies and industrial development was necessary for progress and prosperity of the country.

He said that confidence of industrialists, business community and investors in economic policies was a must for the growth of industries and trade activities.

So, input of the business community be taken while making economic policies, he added.
