KARACHI, Jan 9: About 31 Turkish companies would display their 250 products at a four-day Turkey-Pakistan partnership exhibition being held at the Expo Centre from Feb 16 to 19, 2002, Karachi.
Addressing a media conference on Wednesday, Fevzi Uslubas, Consul General of Turkey said the event would witness that for the first time in Pakistan, where Turkish exporters will be cooperating with Pakistani business community at such a large scale to foster two-way trade ties between the two countries.
The event is being seen as an opportunity which will inject additional steam to the existing trade relations between the two countries. Ladin Exhibitions and Congress Organization Co, established in Ankara, is organizing this trade fair.
The Turkish companies are expected to display their products ranging from automotive and spare parts, chemicals, construction, consumer and consumer durable goods, electric and electronic goods, food, footwear to machinery and textile machinery, the consul general added.
Devrim Erol, chairperson Ladin Exhibition and Congress told media men that this occasion will help explore new avenues to effectively enhance economic cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey.
