KARACHI, Jan 9: Two ships, Nur Yembo and Jian She, to offload chemicals and edible oil were allotted berths at Marginal Wharf during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Four ships, Abra, Ipex Emperor, Jian She-35 and Nur Yembo were busy in loading/discharging wheat and containers, edible oil and chemicals respectively.

Nur Yembo and Ipex Emperor sailed out on Wednesday morning. Abra completed loading of 16,800 tons wheat was expected to sail out on the same day.

Some 6,019 tons cargo, comprising 4,000 tons exports and 2,019 tons imports, in addition to 449 containers (Teus), was handled.
