LAHORE: The Provincial Development Working Party approved on Tuesday implementation of National Flood Protection Plan-IV (Umbrella PC-I) costing Rs332.25 billion.

The scheme was approved in the 74th meeting of the PDWP of the current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over by Planning and Development Department Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

The P&D secretary, members of the Planning & Development Board, respective provincial secretaries, assistant chief (P&D Coordination-II) and other senior representatives of the relevant departments also attended the meeting.
