THIS is with regard to the Sindh Public Service Commission’s new notification wherein an alarming situation has disturbed the number of candidates of CCE. There is no doubt that, with the announcement of screening test, thousands of candidates are already frightened and now their fear is mutiplied after the introduction of deduction score (0.50) on every false answer.
However, one can’t gauge one’s intelligence and personality through ‘objective-type paper’, many a dull student can pass it by chance and many capable candidates, unfortunately, may fail.
There is no doubt about it, but rumours are around that in their unexpected and untimely notification there might be a new technique to delay the screening test process further, as the SPSC knows well about candidates’ reactions that would be in the form of a protest and resist formula.
Our only demand is that the authorities should clarify the reason behind such a sudden scheme.
