KARACHI: The England-bound Pakistan disabled team received a major boost on Friday when it was announced that the Interloop Limited will be the official sponsor during next month’s triangular series which also involves Bangladesh.

Amiruddin Ansari, the honorary secretary of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA), offered his gratitude to Interloop for their support after being a regular sponsor on the domestic cricket circles for several year.

Former Pakistan skipper Rashid Latif, who is also the PDCA president, also thanked the sponsor for its support in the July 8-13 tri-nation series. “Sponsors are a very important of any sport and vital in terms of providing momentum for achieving growth and attaining excellence.”

Musadaq Zulqarnain, the Interloop chief executive, said: “It is an honour for us to be the part of Pakistan disabled cricket team in the upcoming tri-nation series. Interloop has been sponsoring the PCB at domestic and national level to promote the sport in Pakistan.”
