ISLAMABAD: The Nepal women blind cricket team will tour Pakistan in December this year to play a five-match Twenty20 series.

Talking to APP, PBCC chairman Syed Sultan Shah said, “They have been in talks with our Nepalese counterpart and the tour has been finalised.

“The training camp will be held from June 30 to July 5 in Abbottabad.”

He said Nafees Ahmed will be the head coach of the women’s team. “Nafees had also coached the national men’s team and under his coaching the team won the 2002 and 2006 World Cups,” he said.

Nepal had also committed to tour Pakistan in 2014 but the plan could not materialise. At that time PBCC did not get the required Rs3 million grant from PCB.
