THIS is regarding the two-day CPEC Summit 2018 held in Karachi which concluded on Tuesday evening. The conference covered the topic in a thorough manner and was food for thought. The select speakers — all of extremely high profile and impartial — addressed the topic, showing the command that they possessed in their respective fields.

Let me be the first to express kudos to the Dawn Media Group for arranging the CPEC summit. However, in my humble opinion, it would have been more befitting and beneficial if the conference had been held at Gwadar. This would have acted as a fillip for the rejuvenation of economic activities and investors’ interests.
