LAHORE: IGP Arif Nawaz has transferred and posted former Kasur district police officer Zulfiqar Ahmad as new head of the Chinot police.
Mr Zulfiqar was transferred and made official on special duty in the wake of the Zainab rape-murder. He has been awaiting posting since then.
The IGP issued a notification of his new posting as Chiniot DPO on Wednesday.
