THE heinous killings of two Christian worshippers and injury to five others in Quetta recently must be condemned in the strongest terms. Just two weeks earlier, four Christians, including two women, were killed in the same city.

It is unfortunate that criminals minority communities with impunity. The followers of these religions are as much Pakistani as you and I. The state needs to provide maximum security to all its citizens, irrespective of caste, creed or colour, so that communities that have contributed so much to towards the progress of this country are not disheartened.
