LAHORE: To ensure foolproof security arrangements for visitors of annual Urs of Madhu Lal Hussain starting from today (Saturday), special police teams on Friday conducted a combing operation in the localities of Baghbanpura.
SP Civil Line Division Raza Safdar Kazmi said a heavy contingent of police, including the station house officers of Shalimar, Gujjarpura and Mughalpura, participated in the operation. He said information about the tenants of the localities was collected and checked through the biometric system.
Mr Kazmi said the aim of combing operation was to create a sense of protection among the citizens.
