KARACHI: The total liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country stood at $18,079 million for the week ended March 16, down from $18,240.4m the week earlier, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Thursday.

Similarly, the reserves held by the SBP decreased by $182m from $12,126m to $11,944 amid external debt servicing and other official payments.

On the other hand, net foreign reserves of commercial banks slightly increased from $6,114.7m to $6,135m during the week.
