Looks like it's the season for remembering Bollywood's original stars.
After Madhuri Dixit was paid "tribute" by reprising 'Ek Do Teen' in Baaghi 2, Urmila was called in for a special number in Irrfan Khan-starrer Blackmail. Watch the song here.
The Rangeela actor, who has been on a hiatus of sorts, will be seen dancing to ‘Bewafa Beauty’ in the film and the director Abhinay Deo is stoked that Urmila agreed to do the song.
“Urmila is a massive star. She is not an item girl. We wanted a performer, someone who had a tremendous star value but hadn’t been seen on the silver screen for a while now. From all the names we came up with, I believe we picked the best. She fit the bill perfectly. She is gorgeous and incredible as a dancer. It ended up being a perfect match for the song and the film.”
‘Bewafa Beauty’ has been sung by Pawni Pandey, composed by Amit Trivedi and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
