LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday lifted ban on transfer/posting in the School Education Department from April 1 till May 31, say a notification.

“The authorities have been directed to do postings/transfers under the transfer policy of 2013 and that any violation will be preceded under the PEEDA Act of 2006.

Applications of transfer will be received from April 1 to 15, scrutinised from April 16 to 30, and merit lists and placement on notice boards and websites will be displayed from May 1 to 5. Objections will be received from May 6 to 10 and addressed from May 11to 15.

The authorities will start issuing transfer orders and placement from May 16 to 23 and the appeals could be filed before transferring authority from May 24 to 28.
