THE Sindh High Court passed an order on Nov 8 last year (CP: D -2250 of 2009) concerning the ownership of property in Scheme No 33 near Safoora Goth, also known as KESC Co-op Housing Society.
Many families purchased these plots in 1972. Later on, the land grabbers took hold of it. In 2009, I and many other took up the case with the Sindh High Court. After eight years the SHC transferred the case to the District Commissioner. Four months have passed and the high court order has not been acted upon. The petitioners have been called 10 times to present their case, but each time the meeting was cancelled.
Many widows and orphans are involved in this litigation. We request the Supreme Court to look into this matter and take action to grant us justice.
