AN undeclared embargo has been announced by some of the Balochistan-based oil refinery and power companies in the Arabian Sea near Churna Island — between Gadani and the Mubarak village — which is creating hurdles for the fishermen of the Mubarak village.
The factories have stationed their guards in the sea who are harassing fishermen. Several complaints have been received from fishermen against the guards, who illegally open aerial firing on fishing boats.
The management of the factories should look into the matter and take action against their guards.
