KARACHI: The trials for several sports disciplines ahead of the 17th Sindh Games are scheduled to be completed by the end of this week, according to information made available by the provincial games organizers.

Different sports associations of Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Benazir­abad and Sukkur divisions have already completed their respective trials for the games which are scheduled to be held at 15 different venues in Karachi from March 28 to 31.

At Karachi division, bodybuilding trials will be held on March 13 at Sindh Sports Board Complex in Nazimabad under the supervision of Saeed Jamil and Kiran Khan.

Judo trials for both men and women teams will also be held at the same venue on March 14 under the supervision of Director Sports Sindh Shahzad Pervaiz, Major (R) Mehmood and Mohammad Ali. Women softball team trials will be held at Karachi Parsi Institute Ground in Saddar on March 13. Interested players are requested to contact Zeeshan Merchant for participation in trials.

Mens chess team trials will also be held on March 14 at Sindh Sports Board Complex in Nazimabad.

Meanwhile, Director Sports Sindh Shahzad Pervaiz has annulled hockey trials for men and womens team conducted on March 12. Now hockey trials will be held on March 14 and 15 at Olympian Islahuddin Hockey Academy.
