GUJRAT: A man has been arrested on charges of subjecting a woman seeking job to sexual assault.

According to Asad Gujjar, spokesman for local police they received a complaint from a woman of Wazirabad who alleged that the suspect promised her to get her a job.

The complainant said when she arrived at his place with a request for job, the suspect subjected her to sexual assault.

The spokesman said acting on the complaint, the B-Division police lodged a case against the suspect under section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

He said during initial investigation, the suspect claimed the woman was his “social media fan”.

The suspect had been sharing his videos with foreign women on social media and had a huge “fan following”, the police said.
