JCCE-18: plea to govt

Published February 25, 2018

THE Sindh Public Service Commission on Feb 19 announced the much awaited Combined Competitive Examination- 2018 after a lapse of almost five years.

The age limit for the examination has been set at 30 years which is a major blow to potential candidates who have been waiting for years to appear in the province’s biggest competitive examination.

Constitutionally, the SPSC is bound to announce the Combined Competitive Examination every year. But owing to governance issues, it took the SPSC half a decade to announce a completion exam. Owing to the commission’s inordinate delay, many CCE aspirants have crossed the stipulated age limit.

The Sindh chief minister is requested to grant age relaxation of up to three years to enable candidates to appear in CCE-18.
