LAHORE: The first two-day ‘Punjab Food Festival 2018,’ being organised by the Punjab Food Authority (PFA), will commence today (Saturday) at the Expo Centre.

More than 150 stalls of food business operators and multinational and national food companies are being set up in the festival.

Entry to the event is completely free whereas 25pc discount on all food items is being offered to the students and senior citizens. Special medical counters are also part of the festival in which the nutritionists of the PFA would inform the visitors about their diet plan and give them health tips. The festival will feature live cooking, pottery, fun zone and bird show for children.

PFA Director General Noorul Amin Mengal visited the Expo Centre to review the arrangements of festival on Friday.
