MULTAN: One more patient diagnosed with H1N1 seasonal influenza died here on Thursday at the Nishtar Hospital Intensive Care Unit, raising the death toll in Multan to 46.

The deceased was identified as Bakhtawar (35) of Khanewal.

According to health department, so far 292 suspected patients had been admitted to various hospitals in the district.

Of them, 140 tested positive for H1N1 strain of the virus that causes swine flue and 44 of them died.
