LAHORE: Two boys went missing from the Samanabad area on Tuesday.

According to the police, Mahtab and Mueez, both students of Class IX, went to a local market some three days back but didn’t return.

After failing to find them, the families of both the students approached the police to register a kidnap case.

The police said it would be premature to say anything about the incident as the investigation was under way.

suicide: Two young men committed suicide in separate incidents in the city on Tuesday.

Initial police reports suggested that 26-year-old Haroon, a resident of Alnoor Town, was found hanged from the ceiling of a room of his residence.

The family alerted the Factory Area police who after initial investigation declared that the man had committed suicide.

Married some six months back, Haroon was disturbed these days.

In Nishtar Colony police precincts, Asif Iqbal swallowed poisonous pills over some family issues and died in hospital.
