DERA MURAD JAMALI: Provincial Health Minister Abdul Majid Abro has said that all available financial resources will be used to ensure best healthcare facilities in government-run hospitals in the province.
Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he said that it was the responsibility of the government to provide all basic facilities to the masses, including health care, clean drinking water and education.
He said that all possible steps would be taken by the government to ensure presence of doctors in hospitals and provision of medicines to the people.
“All required equipment and machines would be installed in government hospitals to provide best possible health facilities to the people,” Mr Abro said, adding that absence of doctors and negligence on their part would not be tolerated. “I will pay surprise visits to government hospitals across the province to check doctors’ presence and availability of medicines,” the health minister said.
