WHAT is the basis, logic and justification for charging a 10 per cent surcharge for even a day’s delay in repayment of KESC bills beyond the due date?
Who gave this mandate to the utility organisation which has no ability to perform a simple commercial activity properly and yet gets away with everyday breakdowns causing losses worth billions of rupees to the nation.

When will customers of K-Electric be legally allowed to install Net-Metering, K-Electric bills are far too high, and it is time that the public at large realize that this amount can be reduced greatly by generating their own power using Solar Panels. The K.Electric company should themselves provide incentives for this, as it will help the company overcome shortages.
