SARGODHA: Muhammad Hameeduddin Sialvi, the spiritual figure at Sial Sharif, says he will lead a caravan of protesters to Data Darbar on Saturday (today).

Speaking to journalists at Sial Sharif, about 35 kilometres from here, he berated the government for employing delaying tactics and making false promises of sacking law minister Rana Sanaullah “who is stoking hatred among various sects.”

He said the movement he intended launching would not be restricted to Punjab. “We will not give up our demand for Rana Sanaullah’s resignation,” he said.

Sahibzada Ghulam Nizamuddin Sialvi, who resigned from his provincial assembly seat on the call of Pir Sialvi, denied the ruling party propaganda that the Pir of Sial Sharif wanted party ticket for the Senate election.
