PARACHINAR: Two suspected militants were killed and another was injured when US drones fired missiles at some locations on both sides of Pakistan-Afghanistan border on Wednesday.

The first attack was carried out near Badshahkot village in lower division of Kurram Agency close to the Afghan border in which one suspected militant was injured. He was identified as Khalid, an Afghan national.

This was the first such strike in the region.

The US carried out several drone attacks in the Ghuzgarhi area of the valley in the past, killing over 50 militants, including Afghan commanders.

Sources said that the drones also hit a compound in the Khani Kalay area of the Afghan province of Khost province, leaving two militants dead.
