KARACHI: On the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has directed 13 banks to open their designated branches from 10am to 2.30pm on Saturday and Sunday (Jan 20-21) to collect Haj applications along with dues from intending pilgrims.

These banks are Habib Bank, United Bank Limited, National Bank of Pakistan, MCB Bank Limited, Allied Bank Limited, The Bank of Punjab, Bank Alfalah Limited, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Meezan Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Faysal Bank and Askari Bank Limited, a press release said on Tuesday.
