MIRPURKHAS: A special team probing the case of two trader brothers’ murder in Mithi picked up a suspect after raid on his house in Ali Talpur town here early on Monday morning and hauled him off to Mithi for further investigation.

Police sources said the suspect was held after police found his number in the call data record of the cell phones of the deceased brothers. The suspect held in the raid was identified as Talal Chandio, who was a watchman at an NGO office in Mithi, said a source.

The source said that two more suspects, Farooque Naseer and Majeed Mirani, were already in police custody.

IGP A.D. Khowaja also arrived in Mithi a day back and assured the bereaved family of arresting killers of the brothers within no time. He also expressed condolence with the family. Unknown armed motorcyclists gunned down the two brothers in Shahi Bazaar in broad daylight about 10 days ago. Mithi police had conducted raids at different places to arrest the culprits while interrogation of the detained suspects continued, said the sources.
