TOBA TEK SINGH: Sunday’s van fire near Kamalia was caused by an electric short circuit and not the CNG cylinder blast. The fire had left a child dead and 10 other passengers injured.
Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Secretary Ms Aqsa Ghafoor said there was no gas cylinder in the van, as reported by a section of the media.
Motor vehicle examiner Azhar Nawab was also present on the occasion.
