PESHAWAR: The Provincial Civil Service Officers Association (PCSA) on Saturday appointed Mutahir Zeb its chairman and Junaid Khan general secretary, respectively.
In a statement issued here, PCSA coordinator Fahd Ikram Qazi said the decision was taken at a meeting, adding both the seats had fallen vacant following the resignation of the office holders.
Mr Zeb is currently holding charge of the commissioner Kohat division, while Mr Khan is director sports KP.
Mr Qazi said the meeting appreciated the reforms initiatives started by the incumbent chief secretary for ensuring better service delivery.
The officers expressed displeasure over non-approval of the executive allowance for the PMS and PAS officers by the cabinet and said they would take up the matter with the authorities concerned.
They also voiced their discontent over the delay in repatriation of those on deputations despite the chief minister’s instructions in that regard. They said nomenclature of the additional assistant commissioner to assistant commissioner approved by the chief minister about a year ago was yet to be implemented.
