British general visits corps headquarters

PESHAWAR, May 5: British Chief of General Staff General Sir Mike Jackson visited Corps Headquarters on Thursday and called on Corps Commander Lt- Gen Safdar Hussain. The visiting dignity remained with the Corps Commander for some time and discussed with him matters of professional interest.

Later, General Jackson visited Landi Kotal and saw Pak Afghan border. He was also briefed about the historical significance of Khyber Pass and rich cultural traditions of the people of Fata.
