Hunger strike

KARACHI: A family on Sunday started a 24-hour hunger strike in front of the Karachi Press Club (KPC) for the safe recovery of its missing member.

First Tanveer Areejo, Neelam Areejo and Sanghar Areejo held a protest demonstration in front of the KPC and later began a hunger strike for the recovery of Khadim Hussain Areejo, who went missing about eight months ago. A government employee, he was declared a proclaimed offender, the family said.­
