LAHORE: Six people, including two women, suffered multiple injuries when a bus ran them over at a bus stop on Ferozepur Road near Chungi Amar Sidhu in Kot Lakhpat on Friday.

Reports suggested that the incident occurred due to rash driving by the bus driver.

The injured people, including Aliya, Naila, Afzal, Farooq and Amjad, were shifted to the Lahore General Hospital.

A police official claimed the driver was trying to overtake another van when the accident took place. He said the locals caught the bus driver and handed him over to the police after giving him a sound thrash.
