LAHORE: A woman allegedly set her husband on fire over some domestic issue at Jalarran village in South Cantonment area here on Thursday.

Initial police reports said that Nadeem and Farzana, having eight children during their 15 years union, had sour relations.

Nadeem’s sister Perveen alleged that Farzana threw petrol on her brother and set him on fire after a brawl.

Police reached the crime scene on the call of Perveen and shifted Nadeem to hospital where doctors declared him critical due to 45 per cent burns.

A case has been lodged against the suspect on the complaint of Perveen with no arrest so far.
