The economy

Published December 15, 2017

THE government of the PML-N has overburdened Pakistan’s economy by unwise practices of borrowings from international loaning agencies.

The IMF, the WB and other loaning agencies keep on pressuring the Pakistan government to increase the tariff rate, devalue our currency rate and sell out or lease out our economically healthy institutions to foreign buyers for debt retirement.

Owing to high inflation the prices of all commodities and other essential items have gone beyond the purchasing power of the common man. Despite the deterioration of our economy, the PML-N government is not ready to realise ground realities while economic chaos continues. The government does not look serious about taking measures to salvage the country. A terrible price-hike is about to knock at our door.
