PESHAWAR, May 2: NWFP Senior Minister Sirajul Haq has said that the policies of the MMA-led provincial government have improved the education standard both in the public and private sectors.
He was addressing the parents’ day and award distribution ceremony at the Saad bin Muaz International School and College here.
The minister urged students, parents and teachers to take advantage of the reforms in the education sector and play their key role in eliminating illiteracy, backwardness, poverty and unemployment from the province.
He said youths equipped with religious and scientific education could combat the onerous challenges in the present era.
The minister said that the provincial government was planning to introduce a law regarding compulsory education.
