PTCL apathy

Published December 10, 2017

MY residential telephone No. 021-35385566 went out of order on Dec 1. The next day I lodged a complaint on 1218 and was given complaint No. 29. When no one attended to my complaint for several days, I visited the telephone exchange at Defence Phase 2 on Dec 6 and, as the divisional engineer and his P.A. were not available, I met the staff concerned and requested them to do the needful with regard to my telephone.

They promised that my telephone line would be cleared by the evening, but nothing happened. Once again I visited the telephone exchange on Dec 7 and requested the SDO to do the needful. The SDO again promised to do the needful. This time also, I did not get any relief. On Dec 8 I sent a message to the SDO through my mobile phone. This time too I did not get any relief.

The PTCL high-ups should know that their subscribers are suffering a lot. Will they please do something after noting my grievance?
