Indian troops killed three youth in Kulgam district of India-held Kashmir (IHK) on Tuesday, Radio Pakistan reported.

The troops knocked a residential house to the ground with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Qazigund area. Subsequently, the three bodies were recovered from the debris of the house.

Following the killings, people took to the streets and staged protest demonstrations. Several protesters were shot injured by the troops and police personnel.

Meanwhile, the family of the detained senior leader of All Parties Hurriyet Conference Shabbir Ahmad Shah expressed serious concerns over shifting him to the high-risk ward of Delhi’s Tihar prison.
