PCB Regional Academy take 2-0 lead

PESHAWAR, Oct 20: PCB Regional Academy NWFP took 2-0 lead after defeating NWFP Sports Board Cricket Academy by 114 runs in the five-match series at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Monday.

PCB Regional Academy won the toss and batted first to score 274 for eight wickets in 40 overs thanks to openers - Umer Qayyum and Tariq Khan who smashed half-centuries as Umar cracked 75 runs off 98 balls with seven boundaries and two sixes while Tariq Khan hammered 60 runs off 28 balls with nine boundaries and two sixes.

NWFP Sports Board Academy was bundled out for 160 with only Majid Khan able to bat with confidence. He hit 51 off 61 balls with four boundaries.
