KARACHI: Middle-aged man killed

KARACHI, Aug 28: A middle-aged man was killed by unknown persons in Malir early on Thursday morning.

Police said that some unknown persons entered the house of Abdul Latif in Ghazi Town, Malir, and escaped after slitting his throat while he was sleeping.

The police said that victim’s son Rafiq woke up on hearing some noise and found his father lying in a pool of blood.

The victim was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The police said that the killers did not took away any valuable from the house, suspecting that the killing could be a result of some old enmity.
