LAHORE: A woman committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan in Baghbanpura on Monday.
The initial police inquiry suggested that Shamshad Bibi ended her life due to financial constraints. She was residing in a rented house and her husband, Abdul Hameed, was jobless. The couple was not enjoying good terms due to financial problems, the police said, adding that after a quarrel with Hameed, Shamshad Bibi took the extreme step.
The police handed over her body to the family.
