LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is organising ACC Level II umpiring course featuring officials from 13 countries at the National Cricket Academy here from Sunday.

The course will be conducted by four officials, including Pakistani umpires Ahsan Raza, Saleem Badar and Mahboob Shah, and Sir Lanka’s umpire Ruchira Palliyaguruge, a PCB statement said on Saturday.

A total of 19 officials from Singapore, Iran, Thailand, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, Kuwait, Bahrain, Nepal, Malaysia, and Myanmar will attend the course which will continue until Nov 22.

The course participants will undergo different lectures on changes in the game’s laws and what effect it has on playing conditions, communication skills, ground condition, weather and light, activity on teamwork etc.
